Sony VAIO E17 Unveiled

Sony has announced its performance-heavy VAIO E17 laptop, which multimediaphiles and casual gamers will surely enjoy. The Windows 8-powered Sony VAIO E17 (pictured) features a 17-inch screen with Full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution, quad-core Core i7 processor, and AMD Radeon HD graphics.

If a 17-inch screen is too big for you, the VAIO E17 also comes in 11-inch, 14-inch, and 15-inch models.

Meanwhile, Sony also announces that its current VAIO E14P will be equipped with a touchscreen. Of course, it comes with a price: a $100 upgrade.

Both laptops are expected to land on retail shelves before this month ends. The Sony VAIO E17 starts at $730, while the E14P goes for $690 and up.
