Award Winning Canadians at Microsoft's WPC
Last week, Microsoft announced the 2012 Partner of the Year Awards during the Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference (WPC) held in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Some Canadian companies were recognized for providing outstanding solutions and services based on Microsoft technologies.
Infront demonstrated a strong corporate accounts segment alignment and partnership with the Microsoft Canadian Team. They were able to extend their role of solution provider to support an innovative alternative to go to market through Server Immersion Experience (SIE) and demonstrated their leadership in designing a Systems Management solution on the Microsoft platform by building customized content on new technologies.
With its Personif platform, Infusion provides a truly innovative video capture cloud solution that touches millions of users around the globe. The solution enables brands and enterprises to deliver differentiated marketing content and interactive experiences, engaging users by soliciting and managing co-generated content. The solution, which uses various cloud and non-cloud components, intersects at the web’s core strengths: video, user-generated content, and social media. Adoption and impact of the solution are exemplified with marquee customers.
The solution that Itergy developed for the London District Catholic School Board (LDCSB) was based on an integrated hybrid solution of Microsoft on-premises (FIM) and in-the-cloud solutions (Office 365) with future, open-ended cloud plans for their ~30,000 students, faculty, and administrators. Exchange Online was selected as their first cloud service because it had the highest impact on communications and collaboration across faculty, administrators, parents, and students. Their on-premises integrity of Active Directory managed by FIM and ADFS easily paves the way for them to integrate future cloud services as needed.
