Unisys Corporation announced that it has made the Unisys Secure Private Cloud Solution the latest product available through the company’s recently announced software channel initiative.

The Unisys Secure Private Cloud solution, which allows IT managers to streamline the provisioning and management of their critical IT resources, is the second product Unisys has made available under its software channel initiative. In May 2012, the company announced that Unisys Stealth Solution Suite of cybersecurity software would be available through its software channel partners.

In a separate announcement today, Unisys unveiled release 2.2 of the Secure Private Cloud Solution, which integrates the advanced data protection of the Unisys Stealth Solution to increase security in the cloud.

By making products like Unisys Secure Private Cloud Solution and Unisys Stealth Solution available through channel resellers, Unisys plans to broaden the market for these solutions in such industry segments as financial services, healthcare, legal and federal, state and local government.

The automated Secure Private Cloud Solution is designed to simplify the provisioning and management of IT resources in the cloud environment by standardizing server virtualization, automating request approvals and optimizing resource utilization. It is easy to deploy and can significantly reduce resource provisioning time.

With the integration of Unisys Stealth Solution, users can benefit from advanced security as part of the virtual server provisioning process – securing applications, data and servers in development, test and production environments.
