Getting lost is not always a good thing. It can cause stress, worry and not to mention the embarrassment that sometimes come with simply getting lost somewhere and not being able to do anything about it. Be it in the woods or somewhere in the city, getting GPS devices like the Garmin GPSMAP 62S to help out.
The Garmin GPSMAP 62S is a handheld GPS that would be a great toll for those who are usually lost. It is especially a handy tool for the avid outdoorsman as a means to prevent getting lost in unfamiliar environments. This newly designed portable navigator comes with a 3-axis tilt compensated compass, a barometric altimeter. It also comes with a quad-helix antenna to provide unparalleled reception wherever and whatever the setting.
The Garmin GPSMAP 62S also supports Custom Maps and geocaching as well. The information can then be displayed, be it the location, terrain, hints and descriptions on a certain area as well as other useful data. This information can also be shared easily to friends and other compatible Garmin device users. The Garmin GPSMAP 62S is available at Garmin for US$450.
