IBM launches Power7 processor range and products based on it
US based tech giant IBM has announced the launch of their Power7 processor range.
The company also announced products powered by this new processor.
IBM Power7 comes loaded with eight processing cores in one chip package. Each of these cores is capable of four threads. As a result a single processor is essentially a virtual 32 core processor.

IBM Power 770
IBM Power 755
